1.) The best by far if you can afford it is the Crescent Court Spa.  It is part of the Crescent hotel.  You get the whole spa experience here.  They do have couples massages and they are within walking distance.  (214)871.3232

2.) Second recommendation is the Spa Habitat, just a short trolley ride away in West village.  It is fairly new but highly rated.  The location makes it nice because after your treatments there are lots of restaurants a few steps away including a wine tasting restaurant, Cru. (214) 522-9989

3.) The Aqua Med Spa is not the same kind of experience, but it is walking distance and more affordable.  They do everything for massages to waxing.  (214) 443-0100

1.) First start off by getting to know Uptown. It is the closest thing to Urban Living in North Texas. You can Ride the trolley for free. It makes a big loop around Uptown.

2.) Get off the trolley at the West Village. This is a great place to shop and people watch, it is really hopping on weekends. There are several great restaurants where you can dine al fresco including Mi Cocina (Tex Mex), its sister restaurant Taco Diner, Cru (great for appetizers and wine tasting) and Grimaldi’s (great pizza and cheap wine). You can also show or catch an independent movie at the Magnolia.

3.) Next head downtown (on the trolley or by car) to the arts district. The trolley turns around at the Dallas Museum of Art. Just across the street is the Nasher Sculpture Garden, which has a really great restaurant.

4.) If it’s shopping you want, Northpark Center is a mall like no other. It has a Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and a park in the middle. It is the best that Dallas has to offer along with some great restaurants, my personal favorite is La Duni.

5.) If you like antiques, be sure not to miss those right near the Inn and more on Industrial. By the Inn I like Uncommon Markets (2701 Fairmount). Not far on Industrial there is a slew of places – White Elephant (1026 N. Industrial), Lost Antiques (1201 Industrial) and Found Antiques (1225 Industrial and there is a really great restaurant inside), Dragon Street Antique Market (1130 Dragon St.)
